ACHIEVEMENTS

1. Establishment and registering Organization, with its focus on rural
   remote area
   Done Series of Public awareness seminars to parents (mothers) in
   target area and identified over 650 children and youth with disabilities.
2. The Foundation has managed to sensitize and to raise public awareness
   within the local and international community on the pleas and rights of
   the disabled persons through Seminars and campaigns for raising public
   awareness in rural areas of which have been conducted successfully
   although in few villages due to financial constraints.
3. Provision of health care and basic education services to Most Vulnerable
   children and youths
4. Get hold of Plots for Building Hostel for Most Vulnerable Girls and Office
   premises in Mvomero Village within Mvomero District.
5. Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR) has helped-out over 800 disabled
   people from rural remote areas. The CBR is an ongoing process as the
   number of disabled needing assistance increases each year.
6. Accommodating 17 children, 2 with severe multiple disabilities who
   needs special care currently receive basic education and health care at
   EMFERD’s Morogoro and Mvomero centres.
7. Assisting 20 Girls from Most Vulnerable families to receive Secondary,
   Primary and vocational education from different schools and
   Institutions. The Girls are accommodated at EMFERD’s Morogoro and
   Mvomero centres
8. Fund raising activities and small-scale farming are being carried out.
9. Over 5 foreigners’ from all over the World have volunteered at Erick
   Foundation since 2011.
10. Formation of 11 parent groups (mothers) in our area of operation in
    Mvomero, Kilosa and Gairo Districts.
11. We have distributed 50 tricycles, walkers and clutches to children and
    youth with physical disabilities.
12. Conducted mobile clinic to 260 patient in collaboration with Nashera
    Hotel guests.
